Weekly Assignments

Remember!!  All assignments (including Wiki posts) are due on Wednesdays by the afternoon when we meet for class!

5th and 6th Grade:  The "Music Makers" project is is only to be worked on at school for now.

5th Grade Weekly Assignment: 
-Read chapters 25-32 in Simon Bloom: The Gravity Keeper and write in summary journal.
-Visit my Wiki and respond to the discussion post.  (Remember....  you get extra points when you respond to someone else's post!)

6th Grade Weekly Assignment:
-Read chapters 26-33 in The Thief Lord and write in summary journal.
-Visit my Wiki and respond to the discussion post.  (Remember....  you get extra points when you respond to someone else's post!)

Snow Day

5th and 6th Grade Gifted Students - Due to the snow day yesterday, we were unfortunately unable to meet.  Your assignment is still to move on to the next reading assignment and write in your summary journal.  We will discuss both reading assignments and I will check summary journals when we meet next week.

Be sure to check my Wiki!  There is a discussion assignment for both 5th and 6th grade students.  The discussion assignments are due Wednesday, January 19th.

6th grade - Chapters 8-16 in The Thief Lord

New Books!

Both 5th and 6th grade are starting new books this week!  5th graders, you are starting Simon Bloom: The Gravity Keeper.  6th graders, you are starting The Thief Lord.  Both books seem to be good reads so far!  I hope you enjoy them as well.  Don't forget to visit my WikiSpace in order to answer questions about the readings.
